[In long report concerning abuses of rights of the clergy,
and conflicts with vestries.]
. . . But see how prettily he rings Changes:
  First he is minister of A; then he is not minister of A.
Secondly, he is minister of B; then he is not minister of B.
. . [7 lines]  The poet, describing a beautiful child, says;
  So fair thou art, that if great Cupid be
  A child, as poets say, sure thou art he;
  Fair Venus would mistake thee for her own,
  Did not thy eyes proclaim thee not her son;
  There, all the lightnings of thy mother shine,
  And, with a fatal brightness, kill in thine.
